Lancôme DreamTone

Recently I was selected by SheSpeaks to test a complimentary bottle of Lancôme DreamTone! For those that are unaware, DreamTone is the next generation in dark spot correction. This customized skin tone correcting serum is so powerful, 72% of women dare to bare their skin.* The new DreamTone is 3 barely-tinted serums formulated to visibly correct dark spots, color imperfections and give you a more even-looking skin tone. It comes in 3 serums customized for your skin tone: 1- Fair, 2 – Medium, 3 – Dark.

After years of being out in the sun sans sunscreen I have started to face the music in the form of brown spots, tiny wrinkles and just overall uneven skintone. I’ve tried several products in the past but none of them have followed through on their claims…until now. I have been using DreamTone twice a day since I received it November 1. It’s incredibly lightweight, has a subtle, pleasant rose fragrance and did NOT make my skin feel or look oily. I was able to easily follow my normal makeup routine after applying it in the morning.

After just 2 weeks I started noticing a remarkable difference in my skin as you can see from my #bareselfie below. The first photo is day 1 and the second photo is day 15. Dark spots are fading (especially on my forehead), skin tone is evening out and smaller, red blotches are taking a hike as well!

If you’d like to give it a try, Lancôme DreamTone retails for $98 for a 1.3 fl oz. bottle and is available for purchase at Lancô and department stores nationwide.

Thanks @LancomeUSA and @SheSpeaksUp!!!

Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara

Recently I was selected by Influenster to test a few complimentary products that are a part of their Rose Vox Box. Inside the box I was PLEASED to discover that Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara was included. Due to the fact that I am naturally blond and seem to have been ripped off in the eyelash department I am always looking for new products to try or just new looks period.

My favorite part of the mascara is the brush. The way that it is curved helps to accentuate each and every lash while minimizing clumps. I only had to apply 2 delicate coats to achieve a professional yet noticeable look! It even comes in 2 shades – black and extreme black so you can customize for yourself.

Look for this product when it hits shelves this month!

Dr. Scholl’s® For Her Cozy Cushions

Recently I was selected by Influenster to test out a few complimentary products via their Rose Vox Box program. Inside the box was a package of Dr. Scholl’s® For Her Cozy Cushions and I could just HEAR my feet rejoice! It may not get as cold and snowy as in other parts of the country BUT Houston still has its fair share of bitterly cold and RAINY days during the “winter” months. These cushions will help keep me dry and comfy for an affordable price! When it’s time to put away my sandals you can bet I’ll be reaching for the boots with the Dr. Scholl’s® For Her Cozy Cushions in them!

Are you interested in giving them a test walk of your own? Head to this link to snatch a $2 off any purchase from the Dr. Scholl’s® For Her line! Don’t forget to tell me your thoughts as well.

Nice ‘n Easy Root Touch-Up

Recently I was chosen by Vocalpoint to test out a free Root Touch-Up kit by Nice ‘n Easy. This product couldn’t have come at a better time seeing as I recently started coloring my hair a few shades lighter than normal! I hated that I’d wind up with extremely obvious roots which pressured me to recolor the entire thing which is overkill and a bit of a waste in my opinion.

With this product it was fairly easy to touch up ONLY the areas I needed when the time came. See below for my before and after pictures!

For a fraction of the cost (around $5.99 per box) I can do the touch-ups as needed from the comfort of my own home! Thanks Vocalpoint!
