Recently I was chosen by Influenster to receive their complimentary #IDoVoxBox. One of the exciting items I found inside was a package of Dr. Scholl’s® For Her Ball of Foot insoles! I just recently started familiarizing myself with the Dr. Scholl’s line but this is one product I had not had a chance to try yet so I was ready to put them to the test.

If you know me even slightly, you know that I have quite the collection of stilettos in my wardrobe. Some I wear for work and some I just cannot wear for more than a few hours because of how they use and abuse my soles! I placed these insoles into one of my most pesky pairs of heels and (drum roll) wore.them.to.work! Little did I know that the day I chose to try these out would be the one day I was (literally) running around the office.

My honest opinion? This is quite a magnificent product. The slim width of the insoles insured that my shoes wouldn’t feel too tight or “wear” differently on my feet which can lead to rubbing in others areas of the shoe. The cushion was just enough – each step I took felt like I had a small, gel like pillow hugging every curve of the front of my foot. By the end of the day my feet were still a bit tired and slightly achy but no one said stilettos were meant for Olympic office events so I give the insole a lot of credit. Without them in those shoes on a day like that and I might have gone home and tossed them straight in the trash!

Bonus? They do not leave a sticky residue in your shoes and can fairly easily be pulled up and adjusted if you don’t get the positioning right on the first try. I have even test drove them in other heels of mine since and been immensely satisfied.

I hate having to compromise comfort in the name of style but I’ve done in on a few occasions. Now I have a nice, affordable buffer I can use to improve the longevity of my shoes AND feet!
